Petra Nemcova and Happy Hearts Fund Commit to Support Operation Healthy Heart

Petra was in Vietnam to meet with East Meets West as part of her humanitarian work through the Happy Hearts Fund. Petra and the Happy Hearts Fund have made a commitment to support East Meets West’s Operation Healthy Heart.

“We are so happy to be a partner with East Meets West,” said Petra. “It is
an amazing organization with fantastic programs.” Petra is now devoting half of her time to humanitarian work, a commitment solidified by her near-death experience in the 2004 Asian tsunami, which claimed the life of her fiancée, Simon Atlee. East Meets West and the Happy Hearts Fund are exploring a number of possibilities for a deeper partnership.
