The East Meets West Foundation's work falls under two main areas: we operate a variety of grassroots programs in Vietnam; and, we are active in building the infrastructure of the country through our Large Construction program. Find out more about our programs and projects in this section.

Grassroots Programs

ADAPT, the An Giang Dong Thap Alliance for the Prevention of Trafficking,  a program jointly run by
EMW, Pacific Links Foundation and International Children Assistance Network, works with a population of high at-risk girls in two southern provinces of Vietnam near the Cambodian border to prevent them from being sexually trafficked through scholarships, job training, and a strong community support network.

Breath of Life supplies hospitals in Vietnam with modern medical equipment and training to save the lives of premature infants and newborns.

Compassion Homes replaces a family's dilapidated, unsafe house with a sturdy home that can never be sold;

Clean Water and Sanitation Program provides access to safe water and good sanitation that is essential to leading a healthy and productive life.

Dental Program provides free, modern dental care to disadvantaged children through a a state-of-the-art dental clinic in Da Nang, Outreach Trips that reach children in remote areas, and a mobile dental clinic.

Operation Healthy Heart, provides critically ill children and their families with funding and assistance for life-saving surgeries.

SPELL program, an innovative education initiative which provides scholarships for low-income children that follows them from third grade through high school and is designed to help children stay in school.

Support Network for People with Disabilities, creates channels of medical, educational, and vocational support for people with disabilities.

Village of Hope, is a safe haven for 150 orphaned, disadvantaged, and deaf children in Da Nang.

Tien Phuoc Orphanage, a safe haven for disadvantaged children in Quang Nam province.
