Who is eligible to apply?
Anyone with a good idea that they are ready to develop. Employees of the East Meets West Foundation are eligible.

What can the funding be used for?
Funding can be used for direct costs of developing the concept, including building prototypes, materials, tools, etc. Funding is not available to pay salaries or defray administrative or travel expenses.

Are there deadlines to apply?
No, applications are welcome at any time.

How long will it take to get an answer?
About two to three weeks.

How do I apply?

Send a concept paper of no more than five pages, including short budget, via email to minhchau@eastmeetswest.org or thu@eastmeetswest.org.vn.

The concept paper should include the following information:

  1. Description of the initiative
  2. Objectives of the project
  3. Targeted groups of beneficiary
  4. Methodology
  5. Implementation plan
  6. Cost (if possible per beneficiary cost)
  7. Use of grants if awarded
  8. Scalability prospect

Do I need to submit audits, 501(c)3 documentation, annual reports, lists of board members with their affiliations and ethnic identities, copies of recent newsletters, videos, financial statements, organizational charts, press clippings, CV’s of the key executives, strategic plans or ten-year budget forecasts?
