Veteran Profiles

At East Meets West, we know first hand the commitment to service that distinguishes so many of our veterans. Many Vietnam veterans are deeply involved with EMW's mission, finding great personal meaning in giving to projects that support health and education in Vietnam. We work closely with these veterans who want to give back to the people of Vietnam, often to honor the memory of their comrades-in-arms who did not make it home. Many of our veterans have found solace and fulfillment in returning to Vietnam to tour the places where they served and to implement projects they support. Below we highlight the stories of several EMW Veterans to reveal the "how" and the "why" of their involvement with our work.
