East Meets West and its subsidiary, Reach Vietnam, have invested more than $83 million in serving Vietnamese families over the last 22 years. We work hard to keep our costs down. Based on our 2009 audited financial statements, our consolidated expenditures by functional area reflect that:

93% goes towards program expenses
4% goes towards  fundraising
3% goes towards management and general expenses

Please note that our financial information presented here refers to two separate nonprofit organizations, presented in consolidated form. EMW has a subsidiary called Reach Vietnam that manages large construction projects. If you go to a site such as Charity Navigator or Guidestar and search for the East Meets West Foundation, the results will show you only East Meets West and not Reach Vietnam.
