Reach Vietnam magazine is East Meets West's full-color publication detailing our international development work in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Each issue features in-depth articles on EMW programs, inspirational stories about our donors, profiles of staff and board members, photos and stories from our special events, and travel and culture articles about Vietnam. Published twice a year, the magazine is mailed to all donors who give at least $100 a year. ($100-plus donors also receive a hard copy of EMW's Annual Report.) Issue #10

The Business of Clean Water: Could EMW's Clean Water and Sanitation program benefit by being turned from a traditional development program into a true social enterprise?  Plus: EMW's new partnership with OneVietnam.org, a global online network aimed at connecting the Vietnamese community; a report on two groups who went to the rugged central highlands province of Kon Tum to volunteer at the EMW- built Kon Ray Ethnic Minority Boarding School;  a profile on EMW Board Member Tom Low and his wife Dr. Priscilla Joe, who serves as a program advisor to EMW's neonatal program; and a profile on INAX Vietnam, a Japanese company and EMW corporate donor  giving back to communities in Vietnam.

Issue #8

It Takes a Network: EMW's Support Network for People with Disabilities brings a holistic approach to improving life opportunities for Vietnam's disabled. Issue #7

Climate Change: Why Vietnam is vulnerable and what East Meets West is doing about it. Plus: Young people are giving back to EMW in many creative ways that don't involve having an income; Dan Knox, an EMW donor and veteran talks about the healing effects of humanitarian work; and, the Breath of Life program is taking the next effective step in neonatal health care. Issue #6

Celebrating Twenty Years: A timeline of EMW's 20 years of service in Vietnam. Plus: EMW's Clean Water and Sanitation Program will triple capacity; The humanitarian ship USS Peleliu docks in Da Nang and works with EMW's Dental Program to deliver services to local children; and, Meet Barbara and Gil Kemp, dedicated donors to EMW. Issue #5

Closing the Education Gap for Ethnic Minorities: EMW is building a new boarding school in Kon Tum Province for ethnic minority students. Plus: ohe Hue Cardiovascular Center brings new hope to central Vietnam;  Donor spotlight on HR2B Relocations, a corporate partner in Vietnam; Celebrating AIG's support for Operation Healthy Heart; and, a special photoessay on saving children with heart defects. Issue #4

Keeping It Local: Two new kindergartens that EMW built in Hue come with a training program in community self-reliance. Plus: A new program funded by the Ford Foundation will help people with disabilities in Quang Ngai Province; and, meet Hannah, an extraordinary teenager whose mission to raise money for EMW brought her a special friendship with the young girl whose life she helped save. Published January 2007.

Issue #3
